Happy Birthday Asher D
you have been in our lives for 5 amazing years now
and what a sweet blessing you have been...and are.
asher loves:
dinosaurs, water, bugs, lizards, swimming, the ocean, nature, motion,
chocolate, books, movies, mud, climbing...and more dinosaurs.
he wishes:
he could fly, that he lived when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, and that he could learn to swim really fast!
he tells me:
that he's sometimes scared if it is too dark, and occasionally he has me check upstairs for monsters, and we should pick up trash that we see on the road so that mother earth won't be sad.
he has made my world such a better place, has taught me to be more understanding and always adds something of wonder to any given situation.
he is 5 today...but this long, lean little sunkissed blonde boy still likes to "rock rock" with nonnie occasionally...and still fits perfectly in my lap!
thank you Asher D for the sunshine you bring to our lives.

oh asher.....my first little nephew (on my side of the family).we love you so much and you were so brave to come into our family first and endure all the smothering attention that was showered onto you each day of your early life with us. :)
i love your spirit and i love that you've taught me how to "play in the dirt" again. :) i will need to know all of those things to play with milo too. :)

Ah to be 5 again and see the world through such simple joys...sometimes we need little boys around just to remind us not to be so serious...and that he is so mindful to want to pick up trash so mother earth isn't sad...so, so sweet! Yep, that sweet child's a keeper :) ~~

I want to be 5 and have Asher for my friend, my kind of gentleman! I love how he thinks of Mother Earth, to see the world through a sweet child eyes! and he feels safe in Nonnie's arms and lap, he sounds so lovable, your children are awesome parents, but they have awesome parents that taught them to LOVE!!!
