NOT pointless

i LOVE music....

i saw this on facebook from a friend and while watching it, found myself dancing in my chair, smiling, laughing, shedding a few tears and ultimately......being uplifted and encouraged for the day!!!!

this is an example, somewhat, of what is known as a "flashmob".

i love it!!

it unites .....for just a little while.........it brings happiness!

here is the definition of a Flash mob From Wikipedia~~~

A flash mob (or flashmob)[1] is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then disperse.
i have to disagree with part of this definition.....

our world is in such disrepair.....there is so much infighting and bickering going on.....so many hurting and in need....so little compromise....so little understanding .....we are so divided....and for just a little while.......

despite race, religion, age, ideals, agendas, lifestyle etc....

we have fun. laugh.cry.understand.appreciate.dance.sing.dream.live.

believe.unite.compromise.love.

care.join.pariticpate.

and to me....something that allows you all of that...is certainly not

POINTLESS!
