i was helping jessamyn paint yesterday.....

asher walks by and puts his hand on the wall

(before it's dry)

and exclaims, "this sure is sweaty paint mama!"

yes, asher....it sure was!

spring break

good morning friends!

my brother and sister-in-law have been here from oregon.

bryan and paul have been big fans of going to tubac, az to golf,

so this time us girls went too.

tin cup was partly filmed there,

so each visit requires watching this movie again!

we ate, they golfed, we shopped, they golfed, we read, they golfed

we walked, they golfed.....and so it went.

the weather was beautiful, the casita warm and inviting

the food amazing.

truly a fun place to enjoy beautiful surroundings with friends.

don't be a drip

this is

"national fix a leak week"?

who knew?

"a faucet leaking at the rate of one drip per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water in a year."

that's a lot of water!

so we have until friday

to fix those drips! :)

i've been so busy lately

that i almost forgot!

hoping all my blogging friends are well and life is treating you kindly...

i have had lots of energy lately and with that, the feeling that

spring is here and time to do things.....renewal perhaps.

it's a new day

relax

play with grand babies

call a friend

joy in today!

i was spending time with brody this morning

he told me that his daddy had a snowboard

i said " oh, he does?

well brody, your mommy has one too!"

he says to me,

"no nonnie, daddy has a snowboard, mommy's is an ironing board!!!!"

i wonder if this is what he had in mind?

after picking up asher and journey today,

we ran a few errands.

and because they were so good

i took them to cold stone creamery.

asher immediately picked out chocolate

and journey pointed to the pink (strawberry).
as we were leaving

asher said

"when i was little,

(he's 4)

i went to the store all by myself

and found chocolate,

because chocolate is good for your tummy

and makes your heart sooooooo happy!"

next time....i will have chocolate!
