we have tickets to see
james taylor and carole king
tonight.
not the first time we have spent time with these two....
we have listened to their songs for years and years
and
played and sang their songs for years and years.
that started before we were ever married.
sometimes it was out on the front steps in eugene, oregon
singing and sipping boones farm strawberry wine;
sometimes with a group of friends,
sometimes with family...
and it continued when our kids were born....
and they listened and sang with us.
i am sooo looking forward to spending time with old friends tonight.
